Plan useful time, not maximum laboratory time.

The declared figure is used to compare models. A real mission needs to discount conditions and reserve margin to return, repeat or land in an alternative.

The factor is not universal: you must adjust it with your equipment, wind, temperature and flight profile. Record real consumption and increase the reserve when the return is against the wind, over water or without a nearby alternative landing.

The aircraft is just one piece. Before purchasing, draw which protocol each link uses and confirm connectors, cells, charger and spare parts.
